Comics - Mr Amperduke

Mr. Amperduke is a Graphic Novel told without any words through over 2000 panels. It took me over four years to write and draw it.

Panel from Mister Amperduke So what’s it about? It’s about 160 pages. No, it’s about a lot of things.

Amperville is a miniature city built and maintained by Mr. Amperduke in his basement.
His Grandson Scampi comes to stay for a few weeks while his parents are on holiday. After a misunderstanding, Scampi takes revenge on Mr. Amperduke by throwing a vicious insect into Amperville and it rampages through the city.

The tiny citizens (called Snodules and not unlike Lego Mini-Figures) must battle against the monster while Amperduke rushes home to save them. Can he make it home in time? What is the mysterious secret weapon laying in and ready to battle?

But it’s not just about that. There are a lot of themes waiting to be discovered by the reader. This is the beauty of a silent comic. The reader is involved much more than a worded comic. It really is unlike anything else you have read before.
