You’re being a bit hard on the alternate-uniform brigade there (and in spazz). People tend to go with what they know, and if they want to reject the values of people they don’t like/agree with/understand they gravitate to a new uniform, rather than no uniform.
Its a bit shit when they’re still uniforming it a 40 though, and goths look crap at any given time. uber-conformity is not the answer either, thats just another dishonesty (how many goths actually believe themselves to be mysterious/vampires?).
I think you’re wearing a ninja uniform Bob; its not what you wear, its the subversive intent when you’re putting on your trousers.
