I’m back
Miss me? I never thought I’d miss having the outlet of my old blog but I did. It was odd how the mysterious technical glitch coincided more or less with me leaving Ireland. Yep I know I’ve been lashing away every week with Spazzmoid but not having the place to whinge and share whenever I wanted has been something I missed, especially now that I’m discovering a whole new world and all.
So here it is. The new site. I’ll miss the old one, lovingly developed 6 years ago by Frank P but it was long overdue a revamp, I had no control over updating it without bugging other people. This new version was made by Abban and John from Brightsky and it’s set up in such a way that a complete spa like me can update just about every item with no coding skills. Thank you sincerely to Frank, Abban and John for everything.
I’m here over a year now. Murcia, southern Spain. I live in a small village that has gone through a relatively massive building boom as evidenced by the disdain the shop owners and bar regulars express towards us blow ins. When I explain to them that I’m not some Spanish knacker but an Irish knacker they either step up or lower the scorn. But it’s a great place. I’m happy here.
Or at least as happy as I can be. I’ve realised that I’ll always be a cranky prick, I live in paradise, have no job to go to etc and I’m still a miserable bollicks. But in the one year of sitting alone here staring at mountains I’ve come to some fairly profound realisations about things. I’ll write all about it soon.
So not to keep you waiting, go play with the site and leave a comment if you find any errors/typos/suggestions you may have. There’s still bits and pieces to be done.

First comment! Smash a bottle of champagne over your screen. I think the site looks great too, I can add and change sections whenever I need to. The word. Spread it.
