2000AD reference sketches
Hey buddies! Here are some doodles for upcoming Twisted Tales. I always include a few sketches with each submission and these are a few of them. I’m using a real sketchbook less and less these days which is probably a bad thing innit? I’ll slap up more during the week.

Your sketchbooks are legendary byrney - dont go too far down the tablet route tho, I reckon i could tell the difference in Amperduke, its as if theres an extra level of detail in your pencilled stuff

i don`t know about those computer gizmos but i like the feel of holding a full hand-done piece but i suppose that its time and energy consuming to do that with all the stuff you`re doing now,but still its nice even to handdo a sketch now and then.

Thanks fwends, yeah I know, going 100% digital is a bad idea but as Luke sez, when yo have to juggle all this crap with a 9-5 and you’re using a tablet all day…..

(PS, did you see the page Alan Nolan did for the comic challenge recently? A robot giving birth is something everyone should see at least once…)

Ha Kyle the new comic jam is deadly!! Will get involved in the next one deffo. Al is a legend. Just bought a new Moleskin a5 and will fill it up over the next few weeks. Such a waste of paper though, I have crates of old shitty artwork that I’m going to scan and dump

yeah there was a glitch with the wordpress thing. man i havent got the energy to write or answer emails this week, infected with some vicious throat thing AGAIN and am taking around 6 different drugs for it. It’s agony. Have to stop sucking those haunted camel dicks
