Fastest coloured comic page

Banged this out at lunch yesterday. If you guess the how long it took I’ll punch myself in the nuts for you. Silly stuff but fun to do. It’s part of the Irish Comic Challenge yolk. I had to draw a page on ‘The farmhand’s housemate goes on a spending spree’

That`s a million times better than everything else in the world. Nice swastika Norris.

  2. uiscebot Says:

it’s very good but haven’t we seen it all before? The flying icecream space ship ending is so eighties.

    Soup teeshirt trumps swastika jumpsuit.

  3. Kyle Says:

There is something very very wrong with your brain, Bob. I still can’t believe how long that took you. A single panel usually takes me more time than that…

(No, I’m not telling - though I’m hoping Bob will live up to his “punch himself in the nads” promise if someone gets it right)

  4. Bob Byrne Says:

yeah come on kids guess how long it took, I might do another today just for the laugh

  5. Burky Says:

  8. Eoin Says:

  9. Kyle Says:

Burky you fucking legend. Bob, that’s one bruised ballbag you owe the man. Go on, you promised…

  10. uiscebot Says:

http://uiscebot.deviantart.com/art/deep-inside-87801293 check that out… and it only took me four hours

  11. Bob Byrne Says:

Burky cheated, I mentioned 16 minutes in the comments on the Flickr page.
I still gave myself a tiny smack on the balls last night just to see what a punch would be like. Yes 16 minutes. Where are yiz going with 5 minutes??

Next week I’ll do another one at 1pm Friday and I’ll take a random title from you lot and have it posted by 1;30

  16. Kyle Says:

Good stuff Bob, Mitch Clem did something similar recently and it turned out pretty well : have a look.

  17. luke Says:

yeah mitch clem is the bees-knees.”nothing nice to say” is still one of my favourite webcomics

  18. Kyle Says:

Me too, can’t wait for the collection that’s coming out soon. That said, I’d love to see a collection of all the flyers and album art he’s done. Anyway, enough of the Mitch Clem love-in, and back to Bob discussing his next masochistic competition. I suggest he volunteer to nail his knob to a piece of original artwork and send a photo of it to the person who correctly guesses his name…

  19. Sarah Says:
