Yup- fuck that wrinkly old fucker till hes dead. I remember that Bullpen thing he used to write in some of the marvel comics back in the 90s. There was one where he went on about being best mates with Bob Kane an all that- I thought oh thats nice.
Years later I read an interview with some old EC artist who basically laid into lee, the bull shit he spouts and how he would pretend how every1 was best mates when really they were bitter cocks who despised one another.
I mean does any one remember ‘Marvel Action Hour’?!!?!?! Jesus- some1 put that fucker in the ground!!!!!!!!!!

as if Liefeld cares what we think - feck if he did, he’d stop bloody drawing.

Stan Lee is fair game as far as I’m concenered and he has no one to balame but himself - he may be a selfpromoter but he has done it an the expense of much more talented people. Just like Disney he saw a market and then saw talented artists he could use and then not credit.

Ask anyone who actually works for DC or Marvel today about Stan Lee - the least you’ll get is an eye roll and head shake but more then likely you’ll get a 30 mins rant with the names Kirby and Ditko muttered a number of times.

Aw man, Stan Lee makes it into the next Hate list with that shit. He’s a joke. Yep Mc Farlane is equally patchy but you have to give him props for becoming a zillionaire off comics, he only started drawing when he was in his late teens which I always found weird, not like the near vocational early habits of other artists.

Stewbie, neh, I’ll have to re-read the article again before commenting. But yeah, my opinion should be listened to.

Neh heh heh! Its a classic. Every medium needs a Liefeld and although I too would spit fanboy venom, I’ve come around to ‘apprecate’ him. He really is remarkable, his name alone will sell a comic, probably for the wrong reasons.

So where do you stand on the Liefeld Alan Moore debate? Bob’s opinion is actually valid on this because him and Alan Moore are the only 2000ad writers to get their name in the title as far as I know, YOU CUNT
