Supermarket Ghost cover and 24 hour comics 2007
Booya! This years 24 hour comic day is 20th to 21st in the Central Hotel, Exchequer St Dublin. It’s an annual event where you have to churn out a 24 page comic in 24 hours. I did it last year and it was a great experience, you always work better under pressure. Anybody interested in getting into comics or who want to brush up on their skills should give it a go. I’m opting to do a
12 hour one this year instead of the full 24 hours because I’m cranky enough as it is without staying up all night. Somebody GIVE ME A FUCKING RUSK.

Does the event allow spectators? The ghost looks great on that cover.

Hey Mloch, yeah this year we are going to really push for more spectators - last year cus it was the first year we weren’t sure how many people would show or what the hotel would be like to people wandering in and out at all hours [they were really cool about it] so we didn’t say no to spectators but we didn’t encourage them either.
And Bob, you rock, cheers for the pimp……..and I bet you still get 24 pages done in 12 hours, talented bas******

will that ghost turn out to be a relation of uncle spunk nugget? I hope so, I’ve taken to just shout uncle spunk nugget at people in times of stress hopefully it will get imprinted subliminally on their brains and they’ll google. Mulling over maybe coming over for the 24 hour comics thing, will have finishe dthe auld phd by then, perhaps it can be a 24 page confession of my demented thoughts of the last few years, are you allowed to bring flarn as a research material?

I didnt write that Supermarket Ghost thing and is definitely not related to Uncky Spunk. Started on a 6 pager of USN though.
Luke by the way is a 12 year old comic genius and the future of clamnut comix. I’m just going to hand him the keys when he’s older like Willy Wonka because I’m dying. There I said it, I’m fucking dying. For a burger.
