As for Chopper/Supersurf, well I loved the last one (or at least the last one I read) where that maniacal billionaire sponsored it and there was mass carnage (supersurf 11 I believe?). Chopper's (apparent) death only metres from the line was extremely moving I thought. On a par with Johnny Alpha packing it in to save mutie-kind.
