Irish comics expo 2005

Yes, come meet and greet the cream of the scene. Below is Rob Curley's press release blurb (unedited or corrected, he spells 'of' as 'off' just the way a certain girlfreind of mine does). Beautiful flyer designed by some stud

With the continued interest off the comic book medium on the rise both
at home and abroad this December will see the first comic book expo
devoted entirely and exclusively to the Irish comic and its creators
writers and artists.

The expo which will be held in the Central Hotel across from Sub-city
comics on December 3rd will give both the hard core fan and those
Merle interested in the evolution off this medium in this country a
chance to meet up with those involved with its creation

The guest list includes Robert Curley and Stephen mooney from the
ongoing series Freak Show which has sold in excess off ten thousand
copies and counting. Also attending will be Bob Byrne of Mbleh fame.
Ireland's king off indie cool ,Bob was the first Irish Creator to be
listed the the international Diamond comics catalogue followed soon
after by Curley and Mooney.

Gerry Hunt the creator and artist off In Dublin City and the newly
published Streets of Dublin will also be on hand as well as Alan
Nolan and Ian Whelan writer and artist of Sancho. Others include James
Mason/Naked lunch and the up coming Dead cells along with that
projects artist Christan Cote.

As well as selling their work the creators will be on hand for
answering any questions from budding artists and writers. So if you
want to check out whats happening with the Irish comic scene first
hand or are already familiar with the scene but would like to meet up
with others interested in writing drawing or simply reading these home
grown gems don't dare miss this sequential extravaganza.

I would like to thank you for pointing out my drastic spelling mistake on the Irish comics blurb! I don't know what I would do without you.
