Panda Z, Beijing 2008 Olympic mascots and the Lion King rip off

The mascots for the 2008 Beijing Olympics were unveiled recently. I think they look good but as soon as I seen them my rip-off alarm start tingling. Have you seen those ads for 3G with little cute panda bear character? Complete rip off of Panda Z, a Japanese animated sensation, and JingJing, one of the Beijing mascots is also a little close to the Z-man.

But I cant see the Japanese creators pursuing and legal recourse considering Disney raped the nation in the ear with the Lion King and no action was taken. For the un-nerdy or uninitiated, Disney's Lion King is a DIRECT COPY of manga god's Osamu Tezuka comic and animated series
Jungle Taitei.

The evidence is absolutley damning, check these out. Look at the evil lion with scar over his eye in the Tezuka version compared with the 'Scar' character from Disney. Coincidence?

Theres loads of decent sites where this is better explained. Disney are a pack of theiving wankers.

I don't think they coppied Kimba the White lion at all. I have the movie and watched it. The story lines and plots are way different. Just because there are a few coincedences doesn't mean that Disney copied anything.

The Lion King was not a copy of Kimvba, although it had the three hyenas and the evil uncle, the plot was really different. Kimba had human characters in it, lion king didnt. Although there are some resemblence, it is no different than the resemblence of Hamlet and Bambi.
